LC10 Outdoor
by Cassina
Designer: Le Corbusier Charlotte Pierrand & Pierre Jeanneret
Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret exhibited the first version of this table at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1929 as part of the "l'Equipement Intérieur d'une Habitation" display. The model, which in its original sizes was presented as a writing desk, was revisited by Perriand in 1984 and reissued with Cassina the following year to offer new variants in line with the usage needs of modernity. The essential design of the supporting structure reveals its uniqueness in the chrome treatment of the tubular steel uprights and the colored lacquer on the laminated crossbars. The series includes square and rectangular tables and low tables, with the lacquer available in the different colors of Le Corbusier's palette. An outdoor version is also available, only for the low tables (120x80 cm and 70x70 cm), with a stainless steel frame painted with outdoor-specific powder coatings in five embossed colors. The top is made of Carrara marble. Also available the indoor version.
