The Archibald armchair has a comfortable, enveloping design that invites meditation and relaxation. The width and depth of the seat are balanced by the slender feet for a svelte overall effect. The back and seat frame is made of steel, with polyurethane foam padding obtained from molding and shaped foam with polyester wadding in areas where more comfort needs to be provided. Springing is obtained with elastic straps. The base consists of four cast aluminum feet and tubular steel frame with gunmetal finish. The leather upholstery, pleasingly moved by a play of vertical folds, is embellished along the edges and on the outer surfaces of the upholstery with contrasting stitching that lends a note of refined elegance.
